OBJECT DESCRIPTION

A curious object in the constellation of Monoceros. The reflection nebula is embracing R Monocerotis and has an interest appearance similar to a Comet.  In 1916 Edwin Hubble notice variations in the shape of the nebula. The nebula is made from gas and dust coming from variable star  R Monocerotis (magnitude 11 to 13.8). Focus was quite acceptable for the C8. A lot of faint stars can be seeing in the picture
