OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION
NGC 5844 is a small but relative bright planetary nebula located a bit more 3 degrees to the west from 4,11 magnitude epsilon TrA . The planetary is located close to the plane of our Milky Way. NGC 5844 was discovered by British astronomer and mathematician John Herschel at the Cape of Good Hope in 1835 using a 18 inch f13 speculum telescope.
Seeing conditions were not very good, however some inner structures seams to be revealed in the core structure of the nebula.
