OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

Above frame shows the eastern limits of the Small Magellanic Cloud. Most of the area of the picture is belongs to Hydrus  The original idea was to frame NGC 602 which is the bright nebula at the right. However in the FOV also appeared Henize 89 with a larger apparent diameter and a structure similar to NGC 371. There are not much images of Henize 89 or N 89 and it was hard to find information about this object.

On the other hand NGC 602 is very popular after the spectacular image of the HST that can be found here NGC 602 is in fact an open cluster surrounded by natal gas and dust. The nebula structure and shapes indicates the erosion produced by the massive but young stars of the cluster.
