OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

A well defined dark nebula in contrast with a vast and crowded star field. Also known as the E of Barnard. What we are seeing here is not the complete E because is was not possible to frame it. The E is completed with Barnard 142 located next to the south of Barnard 143. It is roughly 3 degrees North West form the brilliant alpha Aquilae or Altair. This object is best seen with binoculars, however it is quite a challenge and requires very dark skies.
