OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

Per Collinder was a Swedish astronomer who among other things published a catalog of Open Galactic Clusters. It was published in 1931 as and appendix to Collinder paper "On structural properties of open galactic clusters and their spatial distribution". Cataloged objects may be denoted as Col or Cr + the catalog number. (*)

In this case we aimed at Cr 240 a open cluster that also includes NGC 3572 (center of the image) and two concentrated and small clusters: Hogg 10 & Hogg 11, center left and below to the left respectively. To the right a nebulosity structure that continues its way to NGC 3532.
