OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

NGC 5120 is quite diffuse and it merges with the stellar background in a wider zone call Cederbrad 122 which is close to the Celestial Equator. There are some discussion with NGC 5120,becasue its real nature; some scientis suggests that is an open cluster while others a random group of stars. The object was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel in 1835 from Cape Town, South Africa.

This is an LRGB image however there is a fair amount of Hydrogen material which as not revealed. 

Within the image to de right we have PK 306-01 a small Planetary Nebula of 25 arc seconds in diameter hidden within the 8.99 magnitude star GSC-8994-2664. Below a croped image at 100% resollution
