OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

NGC 5925 is a very loose open cluster in the constellation of Norma however the northern side of the cluster is in the border of the constellation of Lupus. Having an age of 316 years old is considered a medium-age galactic cluster. First discovered by Scottish astronomer James Dunlop on July 18, 1826, from Paramatta Australia. Very difficult to discern the stars members from the background, despite the mentioned studies reveal that is has 421 true star members identified.

Following Trumpler Classification NGC 5925 is III; 1; m. whereas III: detached cluster with no noticeable central concentration - 1:Most stars in the cluster are nearly the same apparent brightness and m: medium rich cluster.
