OBJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE SESSION

NGC 3519 is a very loose open cluster between NGC 3576 complex and Carina Nebula, therefore the background contains patches of emission nebula. To the right we have RCW 54a and to the left we have structure coming from NGC 3579. There are not many images of NGC 3519 and this zone in RGB nor information with regards this open cluster. NGC 3519 was discovered by English polymath and mathematician John Herschel in March 1834 from Cape of Good Hope.
